Lead commercial construction projects across South Florida, including complex renovations, occupied-campus work, laboratories, and institutional facilities. This full-time Project Manager opportunity offers ownership from contract award through closeout and warranty, with direct responsibility for project financials and client relationships.

Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing commercial construction projects ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to multimillion-dollar projects.
- Experience managing projects from contract award through closeout, including multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong command of commercial construction contracts, drawings, specifications, building systems, sequencing, and procurement.
- Hands-on financial management experience, including project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, cash flow projections, and Work-in-Progress reporting.
- Ability to prepare monthly owner pay applications, review subcontractor payment requests, and price and negotiate owner and subcontractor change orders.
- Experience administering owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
- Ability to identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, long-lead procurement risks, and unforeseen conditions before they affect cost or schedule.
- Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
- Ability to partner with Superintendents on site logistics, manpower planning, scheduling, safety, and quality.
- Experience coordinating commissioning, owner training, warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, as-built documentation, and final turnover.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and client relationship skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, and experience with Procore or comparable construction management software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites throughout South Florida.
- Ability to work primarily at active construction sites, navigate uneven surfaces and stairs or ladders, wear required protective equipment, and occasionally lift or carry approximately 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Construction, or a related field.
- Experience with higher education, institutional, municipal, laboratory, healthcare, or technically complex renovation projects.
- Experience with Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), negotiated work, and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) delivery methods.
- Knowledge of Florida Building Codes and South Florida permitting processes.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Outbuild, or comparable platforms.
- Experience mentoring Assistant Project Managers or Project Engineers.
- Established relationships with South Florida subcontractors, consultants, and design professionals.
