Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in food & beverage and/or hospitality industry
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Attention to detail; strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Ability to stand for 6–12 hours at a time
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience with employee scheduling and human resources practices
  • Prior supervisory experience in a multi-attraction or family entertainment center
  • Familiarity with cash handling and daily reporting
  • Bilingual abilities a plus

Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all attractions, food & beverage, and guest service areas
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of employees
  • Ensure all facilities and amusements are clean, safe, and fully operational
  • Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members
  • Monitor employee schedules, performance trends, and payroll submissions
  • Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Open and close the venue following established procedures, including managing multiple cash drawers
