seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead overnight sanitation operations within a high-volume production environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about food safety, team development, and ensuring equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for daily production.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the night shift sanitation team
  • Oversee equipment disassembly, cleaning, sanitization, and reassembly
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and shift coverage
  • Monitor sanitation efficiency and minimize downtime to support production readiness
  • Enforce company safety policies and lead scheduled safety meetings
  • Conduct coaching sessions and support employee development
  • Prepare and submit nightly sanitation reports
  • Conduct accident investigations and maintain safety documentation
  • Manage employee attendance and time records
  • Maintain training documentation for new hires
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP requirements, GMPs, and company policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in sanitation within the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of USDA and OSHA regulations
  • Experience with CIP systems, chemical handling, and industrial equipment cleaning
  • Working knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Meat Science, Agricultural Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Experience leading sanitation in a meat or protein processing environment
  • Prior involvement in food safety audits or regulatory inspections
