Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of food and beverage management experience, ideally in a golf club, resort, or hotel environment
• Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM)
• Arizona Title 4 Management Alcohol Training certification
• Valid driver’s license and at least 21 years of age
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills
• Regular availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to meet physical requirements (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, indoor/outdoor work)

Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction
• Lead, mentor, and support staff, providing training and regular performance feedback
• Develop and enforce operating procedures and quality standards across all venues, including special events and banquet functions
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to optimize efficiency and minimize loss
• Address guest or member concerns promptly and professionally
• Coordinate staffing schedules for optimal coverage and service delivery
