General Manager

General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume quick-service setting
- Proven success managing locations with $3M+ in annual sales revenue
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, training, and developing teams
- Hands-on operator skilled in P&L ownership, labor controls, and food cost management
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or management training a plus
- McDonald’s management experience or Hamburger University training is highly preferred
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience developing and promoting team members into leadership roles
- Clear, direct communicator who maintains high standards in a positive manner
- Confident leading in operationally intense, dynamic environments
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations to deliver exceptional guest service
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach team members and managers
- Foster a positive, high-performing team culture focused on engagement and retention
- Drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence
- Manage labor, food, inventory, and operating costs to achieve business goals
- Analyze performance metrics and execute improvement plans
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards
- Lead by example on the restaurant floor, setting the tone for professionalism and accountability
