General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Management and sales experience, ideally in a wellness setting with a membership-based business
- Massage therapist license
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and support teams
- Skilled at building positive relationships with employees and guests
- Comfortable handling sensitive discussions in a constructive, professional manner
- Ability to foster a workplace where all team members feel valued and connected
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in the massage industry is required
- Massage therapist license
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations, including membership sales, retail promotions, deposit management, inventory, and compliance
- Set and pursue business goals by prioritizing initiatives and monitoring results
- Quickly and effectively resolve customer concerns, maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment
- Empower team members with clear expectations, ongoing training, and regular performance reviews
- Build strong relationships and instill confidence among employees, members, and guests
