Operations Manager – Land & Snow

Lead the Field. Elevate the Work. Keep Operations Moving.

Are you an experienced landscape or snow operations professional who enjoys being in the field, leading teams, solving problems, and making sure the job gets done right?

We’re looking for an Operations Manager – Land & Snow to help lead daily field operations across landscape enhancements, maintenance, and winter snow services. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, seasonal environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.

If you’re organized, dependable, comfortable leading crews, and ready to take ownership in the field, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

What You’ll Do

🌿 Landscape Enhancements

  • Help plan, schedule, and execute landscape enhancement projects, including installations, renovations, seasonal color, and upgrades.
  • Coordinate clients, vendors, crews, equipment, materials, and staffing to keep projects moving.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets and communicate variances to leadership.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and execution standards.

🌱 Landscape Maintenance

  • Support daily routing, scheduling, and mobilization of maintenance crews.
  • Make sure crews have the equipment, materials, and direction needed to succeed.
  • Help train and onboard team members in maintenance practices and safety procedures.
  • Conduct site audits to verify work quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with leadership and account management to resolve client concerns.

️ Snow & Winter Operations

  • Support the planning and execution of snow removal operations, including plowing, shoveling, and de-icing.
  • Coordinate crews, equipment mobilization, routes, and weather monitoring during snow events.
  • Ensure snow equipment is prepared, operational, and deployed effectively.
  • Monitor performance during snow events while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Assist with post-event reporting and client follow-up.

Leadership & Operations

This role is more than coordinating crews—you’ll help keep the entire operation organized and performing at a high level.

You’ll:

  • Maintain accurate records for job progress, labor hours, materials, and weather-related activity.
  • Help manage equipment inventories and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  • Reinforce company safety standards and operating procedures.
  • Provide feedback on crew performance and assist with coaching and employee development.
  • Help identify operational improvements across both the green and winter seasons.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a strong fit if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, construction, snow operations, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance, horticulture, irrigation, enhancement installation, and snow removal practices.
  • Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
  • The ability to read and interpret site plans, snow maps, work orders, and client specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
  • Familiarity with landscaping and snow removal equipment.
  • Experience with mobile field technology, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

This Is a Hands-On Operations Role

You won’t be sitting behind a desk all day.

This position requires regular field presence and the ability to work outdoors throughout the year. You should be comfortable responding to changing priorities, weather events, and operational challenges—and stepping in when your team needs you.

The role may require early mornings, nights, weekends, and on-call snow response during the winter season, along with the ability to perform hands-on field tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to become a key part of a seasonal operation where leadership, organization, accountability, and field execution matter every day.

If you enjoy:

  • Leading people
  • Working outdoors
  • Solving problems in real time
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Improving operational efficiency
  • Working across both landscape and snow seasons

We want to hear from you.
