We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for a well-established company. The ideal candidate for the Manufacturing Engineering Manager role will direct and coordinate the activities of support engineering in a high-precision, production-oriented plant focused on assembly and automation.
Manufacturing Engineering Manager Qualifications and Responsibilities:
• Directs, schedules, and delegates assignments to support engineering and team members during projects.
• Leads the engineering team
• Leads investigation in specifying the need for new manufacturing machinery, automation, and equipment, makes purchase recommendations, and provides financial and other quantitative justification.
• Directs the research to promote greater cost effectiveness and efficiency of production tooling or method techniques.
• Designs and implements process methods for assembly.
• Prepares cost estimates for assembly and automation; for individual parts and complete assemblies.
• Leads and frequently makes design modifications to existing plant equipment to improve performance and reduce manufacturing costs.
• 5 plus years of experience as a Manufacturing or Industrial Engineer.
• 5+ Years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineering Manager.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering, plant engineering, industrial engineering and tooling.
• Working knowledge of budget creation and attainment, including cost reduction initiatives.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques such as process capability.
• Experience with Iron casting and metal cutting.
Manufacturing Engineering Manager Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range of $130K – $155K, based on experience
