Sous Chef Requirements & Responsibilities:
- 3+ years of Sous Chef experience in an upscale restaurant
- Proven ability to lead BOH operations in a $5M+ annual revenue restaurant
- Coach, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
- Maintain accountability around kitchen standards, food safety, and sanitation
- Partner with Executive Chef to deliver consistent, high-quality food
- Effectively manage food and labor costs, inventory, and scheduling
Sous Chef Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong track record of team development and retention
- Collaborative leadership style
- Ability to foster a positive, professional kitchen culture while driving performance
- High-volume, scratch kitchen experience
