Senior Construction Estimator

Commercial General Contractor | Confidential Employer

Location: South Florida

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 Base + Bonus + Benefits

An established commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator with 10–15 years of experience to lead preconstruction efforts on commercial and institutional projects. If you enjoy developing winning estimates, collaborating with project teams, and influencing project strategy, this is an outstanding opportunity with a stable, well-respected contractor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, budget, and hard bid estimates
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Develop competitive bid strategies
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Prepare conceptual budgets and cost analyses
• Support project turnover to operations
• Build strong subcontractor and client relationships

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of commercial estimating experience
• General Contractor experience required
• Experience with commercial and institutional construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred
