Tax Specialist (CPA) – Remote

100% Remote | $100,000–$150,000+ | Boutique CPA Firm

We're partnering with a highly respected boutique CPA firm that serves sophisticated, high-net-worth clients in a specialized area of taxation. This is a rare opportunity to continue doing challenging technical tax work while building long-term client relationships in a collaborative, fully remote environment that values quality, sustainability, and work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of established client relationships while serving as a trusted tax advisor.
• Prepare and analyze complex federal income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations.
• Research technical tax issues, identify planning opportunities, and provide thoughtful solutions.
• Collaborate closely with experienced leadership and reviewers in a highly specialized practice.
• Build trusted relationships with sophisticated clients while delivering exceptional service.
• Contribute ideas that support continuous process improvement and the firm's continued growth.

What We're Looking For

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience with a strong emphasis on federal income tax compliance.
• Strong experience with individual, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation taxation.
• Excellent technical tax knowledge with the ability to identify issues beyond basic compliance.
• Experience managing client relationships and working directly with sophisticated clients.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fully remote environment.

Compensation
