E-Commerce Director – Neptune City, NJ
A leading consumer products company seeks an experienced e-commerce leader to drive digital growth and marketplace excellence for a portfolio of recognized pet brands. This is a dynamic, highly visible role partnering with executive leadership to craft e-commerce strategy, optimize channel performance, and develop a high-performing team in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
E-Commerce Director Benefits & Compensation
- $170,000–$190,000 base salary, plus performance bonus

E-Commerce Director Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of e-commerce experience, ideally in consumer goods or retail
- Proven success owning customer P&Ls and driving multi-channel revenue growth
- Experience managing major marketplaces, including Amazon Vendor/Seller Central and Chewy
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
- Deep knowledge of digital commerce trends, technology, and AI solutions
- Demonstrated leadership of high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree required
E-Commerce Director Preferred Background & Skills
- Background with pet, consumer packaged goods, or lifestyle brands
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar platforms
- Experience with pricing tools and marketplace compliance systems, including iMAP
- Intellectual curiosity and adaptability in fast-evolving environments
E-Commerce Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive revenue across multiple digital channels
- Own business performance metrics and adjust tactics to maximize sales and profitability
- Oversee marketplace performance, driving digital shelf excellence and superior merchandising
- Analyze sales, market share, and profitability to identify growth and efficiency opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and executive teams to align objectives
- Lead and develop a team of four to five direct reports, building a digital-first, performance-driven culture
