Store Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume, customer-facing retail, hospitality, or entertainment environment
  • Proven success managing large hourly teams and multiple layers of leadership
  • Strong technical aptitude with comfort in hands-on troubleshooting
  • Experience with scheduling, labor management, and employee development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead diverse teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and operational technology platforms
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Store Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience implementing SOPs and improving operational processes
  • Passion for creating guest-centric environments
  • Ability to thrive during periods of change and ambiguity

Store Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a large, shift-based team
  • Lead by example on the floor to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational or technical challenges swiftly
  • Monitor labor hours, scheduling, guest satisfaction, and key performance metrics
  • Maintain operational excellence in safety, inventory, and facility standards
  • Collaborate with regional teams to drive consistency and innovation
  • Support local community initiatives to strengthen brand presence
