A rapidly expanding consumer financial services organization in Plano, TX (75024) is seeking an analytics-driven professional to join their Reporting and Analytics team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make an impact through data storytelling and innovative analytics within a collaborative environment.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship, now or in the future. Work visas cannot be sponsored or supported for this role.
Data Engineer Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, or related field
- 1 year of experience in the data space or equivalent
- 1 year of experience with Python, SQL
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Curiosity for how things work and initiative to bring fresh perspectives
Data Engineer Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures to meet evolving business needs
- Solve complex business challenges with high-quality, maintainable code
- Prepare and organize data for seamless visualization and reporting
- Gather and consolidate data from diverse sources
- Develop automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and tools for stakeholders
- Communicate technical topics in an easily understandable way to various audiences
- Champion best practices in data analytics and support data-driven decision-making
- Ensure thorough, clear documentation for data solutions
