Preschool Teacher – Western Twin Cities (Wayzata Area), MN

Preschool Teacher Requirements & Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting
- Proven skills in lesson planning and curriculum implementation
- Classroom management experience
- Strong communicator, especially with parents and families
- Experience collaborating with teaching teams
- Ability to observe and assess child development
Preschool Teacher Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with children through Pre-K
- Church-affiliated or private school experience
- Experience documenting child development and conducting parent conferences
- Knowledge of positive behavior management strategies
- Organized, dependable, and invested in ongoing professional growth
Preschool Teacher Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and lead engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for preschoolers
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers
- Observe and assess child development, documenting growth and communicating with parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement lessons
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and explorative classroom environment
- Model and support positive behavior and classroom routines
