Senior Geotechnical Project Manager

We’re actively seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex geotechnical engineering projects from concept to completion. This leadership role involves managing field investigations, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring technical excellence in all aspects of project execution. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with extensive geotechnical experience and strong project management capabilities.

As a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager, you will:

  • Direct and manage geotechnical site investigations, analysis, and reporting
  • Lead the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of projects across multiple sites
  • Oversee preparation of technical reports, proposals, and design documents
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the professional growth of the team
  • Support business development by maintaining and building client relationships

Qualifications:

To succeed as a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager, candidates must have:

  • A valid PE license
  • 10–12+ years of engineering experience, including 8+ years in project management
  • Expertise in geotechnical engineering principles and software (e.g., Rocscience, GSLOPE, Civil 3D)
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (approximately 10%)
