We're seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team of one of Charlotte's most exciting chef-driven dining concepts.

Join a dinner-only restaurant that blends elevated cuisine with genuine hospitality. The seasonal menu was developed by a Michelin-selected chef, and the restaurant has earned national recognition after being featured on Season 23 of Top Chef.

If you enjoy leading from the floor, developing great people, and creating memorable guest experiences, we'd love to speak with you.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

  • Competitive base salary of $60,000–$65,000
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Employee meals and dining discounts
  • Leadership development, mentorship, and advancement opportunities
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture with a genuine commitment to work-life balance
  • Long-term career growth with an expanding hospitality company

Position Overview

The Restaurant Manager partners with the General Manager and Executive Chef to lead the daily front-of-house operation while creating a culture centered around hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll coach the team, engage with guests, and ensure every service reflects the restaurant's commitment to quality.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily front-of-house operations with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the dining room, supporting guests and team members.
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop hourly team members.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef to deliver seamless service between the front and back of house.
  • Foster a positive, hospitality-focused culture built on accountability and teamwork.
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and daily operational execution.
  • Support beverage, inventory, and cost control initiatives.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and service execution.
  • Help create memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience in upscale casual, polished casual, chef-driven, or high-volume full-service restaurants.
  • Passion for hospitality and developing people.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing labor, guest satisfaction, and daily restaurant operations.
  • Calm, confident leadership in fast-paced environments.
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the floor and leading by example.

Who You Are

You're passionate about hospitality because you genuinely enjoy taking care of people.

You believe great restaurants are built through strong leadership, consistent execution, and developing great teams. You enjoy mentoring others, building relationships with guests, and creating an environment where both employees and guests want to return.

If that sounds like you, we'd welcome the opportunity to start a conversation.
