Kitchen Supervisor

$65,000-$75,000 + Bonus | Comprehensive Benefits

A growing, multi-unit QSR company is looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Kitchen Supervisor who is eager to learn, grow, and develop into a future Kitchen Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong Shift Leader, Assistant Kitchen Manager, Kitchen Supervisor, or emerging BOH leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term career growth with an expanding brand.

Working alongside experienced leadership, you'll gain hands-on experience overseeing daily back-of-house operations, developing teams, managing inventory and labor, and ensuring operational excellence while building the skills needed to advance into a Kitchen Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Support the daily execution of all back-of-house operations, including receiving, inventory, prep, production, kitchen line, dish, catering, and dispatch.
  • Lead by example while helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.

Team Leadership

  • Help coach, train, and motivate kitchen team members.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and reinforcing company standards.
  • Support scheduling, shift execution, and day-to-day supervision.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, team-first culture.
  • Partner with Kitchen Managers and senior leadership to develop the skills needed for future advancement.

Inventory & Labor

  • Assist with inventory counts, ordering, receiving, and product management.
  • Support labor scheduling and productivity goals.
  • Learn to monitor KPIs related to food cost, labor, and operational performance.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations, food safety standards, labor laws, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.
  • Support consistent execution of company policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Experience in a high-volume, multi-cuisine restaurant environment.
  • 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience in a QSR, fast casual, or full-service restaurant.
  • Experience leading back-of-house teams and supporting daily kitchen operations.
  • Working knowledge of food safety, inventory control, Cost of Goods (COGs), and labor management.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and restaurant management systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude with a genuine desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career with an expanding company.
