Manager, Tax – Remote (Mid-Atlantic Region). Candidates must reside in VA, MD, PA, WV, KY, or OH.

Manager, Tax Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of relevant tax experience
- CPA required
- Proven analytical skills and advanced Excel modeling ability
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Proficient with accounting systems (such as Oracle) and Microsoft Office
Manager, Tax Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with tax compliance and provision systems
- Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas, pivot tables, and report development
- Familiarity with telecommunications industry taxes
Manager, Tax Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation, review, and filing of all federal, state, and local income and transaction tax reporting
- Manage external tax advisors in preparing and reviewing returns and compliance documentation
- Lead quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and related disclosures for financial reporting
- Monitor tax law changes and provide timely guidance to management
- Oversee tax depreciation records, forecasting, and financial tax-related reporting
- Coordinate and support transaction tax audits and property tax obligations
- Prepare, review, and file all pass-through tax filings and exemption certificates
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements using technology and best practices
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all compliance activities and internal controls
