Customer Logistics Manager (Remote)
Salary: $100,000–$125,000
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Are you a customer-focused logistics leader with experience supporting food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods? We are seeking a Customer Logistics Manager to lead customer service operations, drive supply chain collaboration, and ensure exceptional service for key customers and retail partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing Customer Logistics/Customer Service team.
- Manage all aspects of order processing, fulfillment, invoicing, and delivery execution.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues, complaints, and service concerns.
- Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, and Sales to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Monitor and improve KPIs including OTIF, order accuracy, response times, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, customer requirements, and labeling standards.
- Analyze customer trends and operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement customer service procedures, SOPs, and training programs.
- Support forecasting, product availability, inventory management, and customer communication.
- Oversee returns, credits, complaints, and recalls in partnership with Quality and Regulatory teams.
- Utilize ERP and order management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Prepare and present operational reports and customer service metrics to leadership.
- Drive cross-functional communication to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of customer logistics, customer service, supply chain, or order management experience.
- Leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing, food production, or CPG environment.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, customer compliance requirements, and supply chain best practices is highly preferred.
