A growing, well-established quick service restaurant brand is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the daily operations of a high-volume location in the Nashville area. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining strong operational standards. The Assistant General Manager will partner closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, team development, and consistent execution of company standards.

Assistant General Manager Compensation and Benefits

Assistant General Manager Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience in quick service or fast casual environments
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop hourly team members
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations including scheduling, inventory, and food safety
  • Experience managing high-volume environments while maintaining quality and service standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring operational excellence
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and staffing to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor food quality, safety, cleanliness, and adherence to brand standards
  • Help manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to support profitability goals
  • Address guest feedback and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist with onboarding and ongoing training to develop a strong, high-performing team
  • Step in as acting leader in the General Manager’s absence to maintain smooth operations
