We're looking for a Bilingual HR Generalist to join a growing multi-unit restaurant organization. This is a hands-on role where you'll partner closely with restaurant managers and the HR Director to support employees across multiple locations. This is a hybrid position, working Monday-Wednesday in the office and Thursday-Friday remotely, with occasional travel to restaurant locations throughout the Los Angeles area.
What You'll Do
- Partner with restaurant managers on employee relations, coaching, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly and management positions.
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Assist with HR compliance, including California employment laws and company policies.
- Support leave administration, workers' compensation, accommodations, and other HR programs.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
- Help drive employee engagement, retention, and training initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees.
- Visit restaurant locations to build relationships and support operations.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Hospitality, restaurant, retail, hotel, food service, or other multi-unit experience strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of California employment laws.
- Experience supporting multiple locations is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
