Licensed Independent Social Worker Core Job Functions:

Willingness to work individually and contribute and engage in team culture.
Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy in accordance with best practices and ethical standards.
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
Monitor and document client progress using electronic health records (EHR).
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and provide consultation to medical staff.
Deliver culturally competent services tailored to the rural population.
Support crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
Maintain compliance with all Rural Health Clinic (RHC) and billing regulations.
Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
Completes documentation in a timely manner (no later than 7 days after the client contact, and usually required within fifteen days or less).
Complete annual training and maintain appropriate level of licensure.
Maintain professional staff/client relationships and appropriate roles and relationship boundaries.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Adhere to NASW Code of Ethics.
Complete all other duties assigned willingly and within assigned timeframes.

Licensed Independent Social Worker Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
Active LISW license in Iowa.(must be Independent License)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
Experience working in rural or medically underserved settings is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
Valid Driver's License
