Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urgent Care & Pediatrics | Brooklyn, NY

A Different Approach to Patient Care

This is a fully on-site position at the practice's Brooklyn medical office.

Rather than following the traditional urgent care model, you'll provide care through video consultations from the office while other members of the clinical team are physically present with patients at their locations.

You'll work closely with those team members to evaluate patients, make clinical decisions, develop treatment plans, and build meaningful patient relationships.

You will not travel to patients or conduct home visits. This is not a remote or work-from-home position.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct video-based consultations from the Brooklyn medical office
• Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients
• Diagnose acute illnesses, injuries, and common outpatient conditions
• Collaborate with clinical team members who are physically with patients
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within your scope of practice
• Provide patient education, follow-up, and continuity of care
• Build strong relationships with patients and the clinical team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active New York Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Active New York State Medicaid Provider ID — REQUIRED
• Urgent care experience — REQUIRED
• Pediatric clinical experience — REQUIRED
• Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills
• Comfortable treating both pediatric and adult patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical environment
• Comfortable conducting patient consultations through video
