Commercial Refrigeration & Kitchen Equipment Technician Benefits and Compensation:

• $28 to $40 per hour based on experience

• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Primarily onsite position with limited field service work

• Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits after 60 days

• PTO program with accrual up to 20 days annually

Commercial Refrigeration & Kitchen Equipment Technician

Must Haves:

• Experience repairing commercial refrigeration and/or restaurant equipment

• Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to independently diagnose equipment failures and determine repair solutions

• Experience working with refrigeration systems, gas equipment, electrical systems, or a combination of these areas

• Ability to inspect, evaluate, and test used commercial foodservice equipment for resale readiness

• Experience troubleshooting returned equipment and identifying root causes of failure

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to lift, move, and work around commercial kitchen equipment safely

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, coolers, freezers, and ice machines

• Evaluate incoming used equipment purchased from restaurants, dealers, and other sources

• Test equipment functionality and determine required repairs prior to resale

• Inspect and troubleshoot returned equipment from customers

• Repair commercial cooking equipment including fryers, ovens, grills, and gas-fired appliances

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, including three-phase systems

• Document findings and recommend repair solutions

• Occasionally travel to customer locations for troubleshooting, repair, installation, or equipment removal

Commercial Refrigeration & Kitchen Equipment Technician Preferred Background & Skills

• HVAC/R experience

• CFESA certification

• Journeyman technician experience

• Commercial kitchen equipment repair background

• Experience working with both hot-side and cold-side foodservice equipment

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong customer service and communication skills
