We are seeking a highly experienced AutoCAD drafter for a well respected fire alarm company. Autocad Fire Alarm Drafter Requirements & Qualifications

3-5 years of drafting experience with projects utilizing AutoCAD
Fire alarm, or electrical drafting expereince is a Plus!
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes
Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and oral
Ability to work 5 days onsite in Brooklyn, NY

Autocad Fire Alarm Drafter Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys to assess fire risk and building layouts
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to define project requirements
Prepare detailed schematics and shop drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with codes and manufacturer requirements
Develop submittals and material lists for fire alarm installations
Communicate with local officials, engineers, and customers regarding fire safety designs
Stay current with advancements in fire alarm technology and relevant regulations
Support additional team initiatives and tasks as assigned
