CNC Milling Machinist – Windsor, CT

CNC Milling Machinist Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree in machining or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong understanding of milling operations
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with G-code programming and CNC machine setup
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds
CNC Milling Machinist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for accurate machining
- Program CNC machines using G-code and related software
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure specifications are met
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues as needed
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
