Partner | Intellectual Property Attorney Requirements & Qualifications
- Significant experience in Intellectual Property law, including copyright, trademark, trade secrets, patents, and licensing
- Portable book of business ($500K+ preferred)
- Proven client development skills and established relationships with businesses, entrepreneurs, and brand owners
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a desire to help grow and expand a thriving IP practice
- Admitted and in good standing to practice law
Partner | Intellectual Property Attorney Preferred Background & Skills
- Prior experience in IP boutiques, mid-sized business law firms, or AmLaw environments
- Representation of technology, media, entertainment, consumer products, fashion, or e-commerce clients
Partner | Intellectual Property Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and expand an Intellectual Property practice with a focus on client growth and satisfaction
- Advise clients on trademark, copyright, trade secret, and patent matters
- Handle IP licensing, protection, enforcement, and portfolio management
- Draft and negotiate complex IP-related agreements
- Oversee trademark and copyright registration matters
- Counsel clients on intellectual property strategy, risk management, and best practices
- Foster and grow client relationships while generating new business opportunities
- Collaborate with attorneys across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
