Kitchen Manager – High-Volume, Full-Service Restaurant

Kitchen Manager – Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in a kitchen leadership or management role

• Strong understanding of food cost and BOH labor management

• Experience overseeing daily kitchen operations in a high-volume environment

• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

• Experience managing inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

• Ability to maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff effectively

• Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred

Kitchen Manager – Preferred Background & Skills

• Leads with urgency, professionalism, and attention to detail

• Thrives under pressure while maintaining a positive work environment

• Passionate about food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence

• Strong team-builder who develops accountability and consistency

• Ability to coordinate effectively with front-of-house leadership for smooth service

• Experienced in maintaining kitchen equipment and overall cleanliness standards
