Structural Engineer (PE) – Federal / DoD Projects

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Compensation: Competitive salary + bonuses + vehicle allowance + full benefits

A nationally recognized design-build contractor specializing in Department of Defense (DoD) and federal facility projects is seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) to join their growing structural team.

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-critical military and federal projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

What You’ll Do

Lead structural analysis and design for Navy, Air Force, Army Corps, and other federal facilities
Design structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and foundations
Develop construction documents and structural models using Revit
Perform structural analysis using RISA Suite and TEDDS
Coordinate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams
Support construction administration, RFIs, and submittal reviews
Contribute to constructability reviews and design-build collaboration

What We’re Looking For

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience in building structural design (not telecom or industrial-only)
Strong proficiency with:
- Revit (structural modeling and documentation)
- RISA (3D, Floor, or Foundation)
- TEDDS
Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems
Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally
Experience with federal or DoD projects is highly preferred
Familiarity with UFC criteria is a strong plus
