Sports Instructor Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be available to work full-time
  • Must be willing and able to temporarily relocate for several months of paid training
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer employment test assessing physical strength, stamina, endurance, and agility
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible operating schedules
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a positive, professional, and confident manner
  • Team-first mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow procedures, enforce standards, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Friendly, approachable personality with strong guest service instincts
  • Physically capable of performing active, hands-on work for extended periods
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in physically demanding situations
  • No prior instructor experience required; paid training is provided

Sports Instructor Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience in fitness, personal training, coaching, athletics, sports, active recreation, or physically demanding work environments
  • Background in competitive sports, gymnastics, dance, performing arts, martial arts, climbing, military service, aviation, motorsports, circus arts, aerial performance, or other high-performance environments
  • Experience working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments such as entertainment, attractions, recreation, hospitality, fitness, retail, restaurants, events, or guest services
  • Exposure to safety procedures, CPR, First Aid, emergency response, guest waivers, risk management, or compliance standards
  • Strong interest in sales, guest engagement, repeat business, memberships, packages, and building client relationships
  • Desire to grow into higher-level instructor, leadership, training, or management opportunities
