Executive Chef – Miami, FL

Executive Chef Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary of $100,000–$120,000
- 1 week paid vacation after 6 months; 2 weeks after 1 year

Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of professional culinary experience
- At least 5 years in a senior kitchen leadership role (Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing large teams and complex, high-volume kitchen operations
- Strong financial acumen with direct responsibility for kitchen COGs, labor, and budgets
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Deep passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and globally inspired cuisine
- Experience with high-volume production, upscale kitchens, and/or commissary operations
- Knowledge of South or Central American cuisine
Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of creative, seasonally-driven menus aligned with restaurant ethos
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including production, service, offsite commissary logistics, and quality control
- Recruit, train, and inspire a large culinary team—fostering accountability and growth
- Manage kitchen financials, including food and labor costs, budgeting, and operational efficiency
- Maintain consistent standards for recipe quality, food safety, and sanitation
- Collaborate closely with front-of-house teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Support marketing initiatives through menu features, content creation, and brand storytelling
- Drive a culture of collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement
