Construction Superintendent / Project Manager

Construction Superintendent / Project Manager Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar construction leadership role
• Experience managing multiple active construction projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, materials, and field operations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, specifications, and scopes of work
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades at once
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively nationwide, including extended on-site stays
• Experience overseeing projects from pre-construction through project closeout
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Construction Superintendent / Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee 15–20 active projects across multiple markets in partnership with the Head of Construction
• Travel to job sites nationwide to monitor construction progress and resolve field issues
• Lead site walks, coordination meetings, and subcontractor scheduling efforts
• Track project budgets, review invoices, manage change orders, and help control project costs
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, ownership groups, and local authorities
• Support due diligence reviews, feasibility assessments, and site evaluations for new projects
• Assist property management teams with post-construction maintenance, warranty work, and operational handoffs
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, schedules, submittals, inspections, and closeout materials

Construction Superintendent / Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with multifamily, hospitality, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects
• Experience using Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, Primavera, or similar construction management software
• Background working in fast-paced, multi-site, travel-heavy environments
• Experience supporting operational teams after project completion and turnover
