Our premier resort property is seeking an experienced Director of Finance in SW FLORIDA to join our leadership team. Director of Finance Responsibilities:

  • Provide full financial leadership for the resort, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls
  • Direct and develop a finance team including Assistant Director of Finance, Payroll Manager, Staff Accountant, and four accounting clerks
  • Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and ownership reporting packages
  • Partner closely with operational leaders across all departments to drive profitability and efficiency
  • Support capital planning, budgeting, and financial strategy for ongoing expansion and the upcoming event center project
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to executive leadership and ownership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team

Director of Finance Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive hotel or resort finance experience
  • Strong background in large-scale hospitality or resort operations preferred
  • Experience managing accounting teams in a multi-department environment
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and operational reporting
  • Hilton ONQ system experience is a major plus and highly desired
  • Experience with capital projects, renovations, or new development strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment
