Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for event planning? Join our team as a Senior Event Manager, where you will lead high-budget events and foster client relationships. Utilize your creativity and project management skills to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.

Senior Program Manager Responsibilities:

– Communicate directly with event stakeholders to maintain relationships and act as a trusted advisor.

– Develop, manage, and execute communication plans for assigned events.

– Create and present overall budgets for events, maintaining cost-effectiveness.

– Organize programs to meet event specifications, including budgeting, site selection, and contract negotiations.

– Oversee event delivery strategies to align with business objectives and core values.

– Lead weekly calls with clients and event management teams to maintain event timelines.

Senior Program Manager Qualifications:

– Minimum of ten years of senior event planning experience with increasing responsibility.

– Superb project management skills, initiative, and creativity.

– Strategic marketing and events leadership experience.

– Demonstrated success in managing high-budget events with multiple stakeholders.

– Ability to establish and nurture client relationships.

– Experienced senior advisor capable of gaining the trust of key stakeholders/clients.

Must be able to travel (30%) and stay over during events
Occasional trips to Canada – possibly Europe and the Caribbean

The price of admission:

10 years in the event world
Must have agency experience
DO NOT like/want Nonprofit, hotel, restaurant, or contract/freelance
Must have a valid passport
Travel is 40-65%, domestic and international
Strongly prefer candidates from the Innovation/technology sectors
Must have handled large events (1000+ minimum), high budget (750K minimum)
Hands-on role, handling from conception to fruition.
Comfortable with self-sufficient, remote work
Must have managed a team of people, both directly and indirectly
