Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a quality or manufacturing role
- Working knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel and Word
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Must haves
- Perform detailed inspections on inbound vendor materials and outbound finished products to verify compliance with strict aerospace specifications
- Generate thorough documentation for non-conformances and track corrective actions through resolution
- Develop and maintain inspection checklists tailored to evolving production processes
- Collaborate directly with department managers to coordinate inspection activities and improve quality workflows
- Segregate, document, and control defective or suspect materials to prevent production impact
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready quality records across multiple stages of production
- Support internal quality education efforts by identifying recurring issues and sharing insights with production teams
Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience working in an aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Background in continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives
- Experience participating in internal or external quality audits
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams
