Family Law Associate Attorney

Las Vegas, Nevada | Flexible Remote Schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in a variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody, parenting plans, support, and post-judgment disputes
  • Manage cases through all phases of litigation, negotiation, mediation, and trial preparation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and related legal documents
  • Prepare financial disclosures, child support calculations, and case evaluations
  • Advocate for clients during hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings
  • Provide practical legal counsel and strategic guidance throughout the life of each case
  • Maintain consistent communication and exceptional client service standards

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active Nevada Bar license or ability to practice in Nevada
  • Approximately 1-5 years of family law experience
  • Experience independently handling divorce, custody, support, and contested family law matters
  • Familiarity with discovery, motion practice, mediation, and hearing preparation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Professional demeanor when handling emotionally charged and high-conflict situations
  • Comfortable meeting a billable expectation of approximately 30 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000, depending on experience
