Director of Business Development Benefits & Compensation

Director of Business Development Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years leading and managing sales teams within the exhibit industry
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative research data
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and presentation skills
  • Proven problem-solving and strong negotiation abilities

Director of Business Development Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and support a high-performing sales team to maximize productivity
  • Grow existing accounts, maintaining regular, systematic follow-ups
  • Deliver on annual sales goals through focused expansion and account penetration
  • Present new products and exclusive vendor offerings to secure and expand business
  • Ensure accounts receive optimal service and maintain comprehensive account profiles
  • Travel as needed to support team and client needs
