We are seeking a reliable CDL Driver to support local hauling operations in a fast-paced scrap and recycling environment. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials between customer locations and the yard while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
CDL Driver – Local Hauling
- Local routes only – home daily
- Haul scrap metal and containers to/from yard and customer sites
- Operate roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or tractor-trailer (no lowboy)
- Ensure loads are properly secured and DOT compliant
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic equipment checks
- Communicate with dispatch and yard team on pickups and schedules
Requirements:
- CDL A or B (based on equipment)
- Clean MVR and current DOT med card
- Experience with roll-off or dump trucks preferred
- Ability to handle containers and work in a yard environment
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
