We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and commercially minded Travel Planning Specialist (Custom & Groups) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing travel company, building and closing custom itineraries for high-value clients around the world. This role blends sales, travel planning, and operations, requiring precision, ownership, and strong problem-solving skills. Travel Planning Specialist Requirements & Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage complex, multi-component bookings

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly around pricing and logistics

Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and with external partners

Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver professional, high-touch service

Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with revenue targets

Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages a plus)

Travel Planning Specialist Preferred Background & Skills

Experience in travel planning, tour operations, hospitality, or related fields

Background in sales, reservations, or account management with a focus on closing business

Experience building and managing customized, high-value itineraries ($10K+ bookings)

Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and validate pricing and quotes

Experience working with CRM or ticketing systems

Ability to customize and adapt standard products into tailored client experiences

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active requests simultaneously

Creative problem-solving and ability to think beyond standard offerings

Track record of managing detailed logistics with accuracy and accountability
