Outlets Manager (F&B) Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel, restaurant, or related field; OR
- 2-year college degree with 3+ years related experience; OR
- 4-year college degree with 1+ year related experience
- Supervisory experience required
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations
- Experience handling complex information and making sound decisions
- Capable of working with financial information and basic math functions
- Ability to motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline staff as needed
Outlets Manager (F&B) Preferred Background & Skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and hotel operations
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
- Understanding of TABC and health/safety regulations
- Food Handler, TABC Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred
Outlets Manager (F&B) Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple F&B outlets ensuring attentive and friendly service
- Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management for all F&B staff
- Maintain high standards for personal appearance, grooming, and compliance with brand policies
- Drive F&B revenue and control costs by implementing effective strategies and promotions
- Monitor inventory, execute audits, and support purchasing and budgeting processes
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to maintain operational excellence
- Address guest concerns and requests promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Conduct regular staff meetings and trainings to uphold service excellence standards
