Catering Sales Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in catering sales and event coordination, especially for large-scale events
- Demonstrated ability to manage event details from planning through execution
- Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (required)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfort with achieving individual sales targets (about $1.5 million/year)
- Ability to reliably commute to Queens, NY
Catering Sales Coordinator Preferred Background & Skills
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Previous experience in high-volume banquet, catering, or event sales environments
- Collaborative spirit and positive, solution-oriented attitude
Catering Sales Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to design and plan bespoke events, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations
- Oversee all aspects of event coordination to ensure seamless execution and outstanding results
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to exceed revenue goals
- Work closely with the operations and service teams to deliver memorable guest experiences
- Manage multiple events simultaneously, maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail
