Division Manager – Civil Site Engineering
Overview
We're looking for an experienced civil engineering leader to manage and grow a high-performing division delivering infrastructure and land development projects. This role combines technical oversight, people leadership, and business strategy, offering the opportunity to shape teams, strengthen client relationships, and deliver community-impacting work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and project managers
- Oversee a portfolio of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance
- Support division strategy, staffing plans, and long-term growth initiatives
- Manage financial performance, including utilization, forecasting, and project profitability
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across public and private sectors
- Support business development efforts, proposals, and client interviews
- Provide senior-level technical guidance and quality control
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer PA (PE) license
- 10+ years of progressive civil engineering and leadership experience
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects
- Strong client communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a multidisciplinary consulting environment
- Background in infrastructure, land development, transportation, or water/wastewater projects
- Business development or division growth experience
