A prestigious country club in New Jersey is seeking a clubhouse manager to join its leadership team. The club is renowned for its luxurious amenities, active social calendar, and welcoming environment, providing members with an exceptional experience in dining, recreation, and events. Clubhouse Manager Benefits & Compensation

$85,000–$95,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
Health insurance available
Applicable CMAA dues paid by the club

Clubhouse Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in hospitality or club management, preferably in a private club or high-end resort
2–4 year degree preferred, especially in hospitality management or a related field
Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team across multiple departments
Private club, resort, or hospitality experience required
Proficiency in POS systems, club management software, and Microsoft Office Suite

Clubhouse Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Hands-on, service-oriented leadership approach
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills

Clubhouse Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Supervise all a la carte and catering services, clubhouse housekeeping, and general maintenance awareness
Hire, train, and manage front-line F&B managers and service staff
Oversee daily club operations and act as acting manager in the COO’s absence
Lead staff training, professional development, and maintain contact with members for maximum satisfaction
Address and resolve complaints from members, guests, and employees
Participate in facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards
Collaborate with various departments for payroll, HR needs, preventive maintenance, and event planning
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and enforce dress codes for staff and members
Manage the club’s internship program and employee accommodations
