Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Requirements & Qualifications

Active New York NP or PA license
Active Medicare Provider ID
Minimum 2 years of NP or PA experience
Experience in urgent care settings
Pediatrics experience

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Preferred Background & Skills

Adaptable and hands-on, comfortable working within a growing team
Experience in small business or startup environments a plus
Team-oriented and collaborative
Strong communication skills with patients and staff

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Provide in-office urgent care services for pediatric and adult patients
Conduct virtual visits as needed in compliance with telehealth regulations
Diagnose and treat common acute conditions, including URI, UTI, flu/COVID, infections, rashes, and GI issues
Prescribe medications according to clinical guidelines and telehealth requirements
Determine when escalation or specialist referral is required
Maintain accurate, timely documentation while meeting productivity and quality benchmarks
