Our client, a growing hospitality group, is seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead operations at a high-volume, select-service hotel in Bismarck, ND. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven hotel leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving strong financial performance.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $80,000 – $90,000

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and brand standards are consistently met
Drive financial performance including revenue management, cost control, and profitability (P&L ownership)
Lead, train, and develop department heads and team members to build a high-performing culture
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement strategies to improve overall experience
Manage labor costs, scheduling, and staffing to align with business needs
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local/state regulations
Collaborate with ownership and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
Maintain strong visibility on property and lead by example in a hands-on leadership role

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a select-service or midscale hotel
Strong understanding of hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance
Proven ability to drive revenue, control expenses, and improve profitability
Experience with hotel management systems and revenue management practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and retention
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to relocate to Bismarck, ND (relocation assistance provided)
