Accounts Payable / Accounting Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a team

Accounts Payable / Accounting Coordinator Preferred Background & Skills

• Internship or previous experience in accounting or accounts payable
• Familiarity with accounting software (Spectrum or similar)

Accounts Payable / Accounting Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices and documentation accurately
• Match invoices, purchase orders, and receipts for approval
• Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and 1099 information
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Support month-end accounting processes and project cost tracking
• Maintain organized accounting files and communicate with internal teams regarding invoice approvals and coding
