Restaurant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as a general manager in a full-service restaurant
Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and achieving results
Strong communication and follow-through skills
ServeSafe certification required
Willingness and ability to work any shift

Restaurant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Manage daily restaurant operations with a commitment to flawless execution and superior guest experiences
Drive profit increases through effective P&L oversight, food cost control, and inventory management
Cultivate a teaching and learning environment for all staff
