We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Manager to lead safety efforts across underground utility and sewer construction projects. This role will drive safety culture, ensure compliance, and support field operations across multiple job sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enforce company-wide safety programs
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and local regulations
  • Oversee trenching, excavation, confined space entry, and heavy equipment safety
  • Conduct jobsite audits, safety meetings, and training programs
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with project managers and field leadership to drive safe execution

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of safety experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, or sewer construction
  • Strong knowledge of excavation, trench safety, and confined space regulations
  • OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510 or CHST/CSP preferred
  • Proven ability to lead safety across multiple job sites
