We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations within a plant-based environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and partnering with operations to drive financial visibility and performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working closely with operational teams.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
Ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP
Analyze financial results, trends, and variances
Partner with plant leadership to support operational performance
Oversee inventory and cost accounting processes
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
Collaborate cross-functionally with AP, AR, and finance teams
Support audit activities and financial compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based environments preferred
Strong knowledge of general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close
Experience with inventory and/or cost accounting strongly preferred
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
